Straya! was a normal emu living near Melbourne, Australia when a mega-stampede of animals led by Zilla III and the Aussie versions of Zea and Loboduke appeared. The frightened emu broke into a zoo under construction and ran into the house of the zoo's owning couple in terror. However he did not get peace and was antagonized by a Labrador nicknamed Rowf. Trying to hide in the couple's bedroom, the emu slipped on some sheets and destroyed a painting and a picture of the couple while struggling to regain his balance. Eventually though he got up again and was bitten on the leg by Rowf but was able to kick the dog and run off.
